Geological Formation:
Our beautiful enhydros are agate crystal geodes that have pockets of water trapped inside them during their formation, millions of years ago. Each of our Enhydro are unique and showcase a bubble of air and water that you can see moving around inside it when the crystal is tilted from side to side. The term ‘Enhydro’ comes from the Greek word that means ‘water within’. If you broke open an Enhydro, you would see the trapped water inside pouring out and would be left with two halves of a geode.

Agate crystals are a variety of quartz that form within the cavities of other rocks in acidic to neutral environments. Accumulation of silica-rich groundwater in rock cavities over thousands of years allow agate crystals to form, mostly within the voids of volcanic igneous rocks where it is hot and water can be help for long periods.
Feng Shui:
In Feng Shui, agate is said to activate the heart, throat, third eye, and crown chakras, helping to cultivate higher states of being and consciousness. Agate can be placed in the following areas of your home to enhance the following:
- To activate the health area of your home - place in east or centre of Feng Shui bagua (locate the centre of your home or bedroom or the east corner in the room)
- To attract wealth, place it in the southeast direction
- To rekindle love in your relationship or family place it in the southwest.
- To activate the knowledge area of your home - place in Gem area (stand in your front entrance looking in, and locate the corner closest to you on the left-hand side)
